Built in 1804, and in use since 1818, Charleston’s City Hall is the second longest serving city hall in the country after New York’s - surviving wars, hurricanes and earthquakes.  The iconic building is located at the intersection of Broad and Meeting Street, and its gates can be seen at the street level, covering the large, round windows. This intersection boasts one building from the city, state, federal and church, earning it the name, the “Four Corners of Law.”
